Our hearts are broken. Mom left us to be with dad Sunday night. She will be missed by her daughters Janice (James) Ingerick II, Joyce (George) Guider, her sons John (Taryn) Cornelius, Joseph (Kelly)Cornelius II, her grandchildren James (Alissa) Ingerick III, Marla (Jeffrey) Walter, Mark(Danielle Simpatico) Ingerick, Samantha(AJ) Robertson, Tiana Cornelius, Tyler (Anna) Cornelius, Shayna (Eskil) Andersen and her great grandchildren James Ingerick IV, Steven Ingerick, Landon Joseph Walter, Jack Robertson, Addisyn Robertson, Leila Cornelius.
Mom is predeceased by her husband Joseph J. Cornelius, mother and father Dorilda and Frederick Geist, and brother Robert Steurwald. She is survived by her sister Shirley Helfer and several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her circle of friends, especially Jane McCabe.


Mom was a school bus driver in Greece for over 20 years. Mom loved to crochet. For many years, she crocheted hats for the babies in the NICU at Strong.


Mom touched the hearts of everyone she knew with her love and kindness.


Later in life, Mom called us her best friends. That is exactly what we have lost, our best friend.


There will be a private ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's association or the NICU at Strong Memorial Hospital.
