Mary Jane Alsup

Mary Jane Alsup passed away peacefully on March 9, 2023 at age 92. Mary Jane was born September, 1930 in Kansas City, MO, and moved as a young child to Salt Lake City, UT. She attended the University of Utah where she met her beloved husband Michael, and in 1957 they relocated to Rochester, NY where they raised their four children. Her family was her life, and her most treasured title was ‘Nana’. She was engaged in many volunteer activities within her church and the community.

Mary Jane was predeceased by her cherished husband of 66 years, Michael Alsup, and her sister Ruth Ann McDonough. She is survived by her 4 children, Patricia (Brian) Conlon, Kathryn (Robert) Muldowney, Laurie (Pete Hagmire) Ondrejka, and Michael (Karen) Alsup, as well as 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces, and dear friends. A special thank you to the staff and community at the Village at Unity, where she made many wonderful friendships.

Friends may call Wednesday March 15th 4-6PM at Farrell-Ryan Funeral and Cremation Services, 777 Long Pond Road.

Funeral mass will be Thursday March 16th 9:30am at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Internment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
