Roger Gross

Gross, Roger C. Henrietta: December 21, 2015 surrounded by his family. Survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Debra Gross, Karlene (Donald) Cambisi and Colleen (Louie) Boyle; beloved grandchildren, Louis and Nolan Boyle; sisters-in-law, Ann (David) Boerman and Kathie (Bobby Gowans) Byrne; cousins in Rochester and Canada, Kristin and Danny Cambisi, Don's children; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Roger was a teacher for 33 years in the RCSD and R-H School District. He was a football, basketball and softball official and a Red Wing Season ticket holder for more than 20 years, a proud Navy Veteran serving on the U.S.S. Buttner, U.S.S. Neches and a plank owner of US Naval Station Rota Spain, proud 3rd base coach for Challenger Baseball World Series. The family would like to thank the staff of Hildebrandt Hospice and Dr. Gregory Sherman for their understanding and loving care. Friends may call Sunday 1-4 PM at the funeral home, 777 Long Pond Road (between English & Latta). Funeral Mass, 10:00 Monday at St. Lawrence Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
