Anthony Joseph “Tony” Pagano passed away peacefully, Friday, December 23, 2022, at the age of 82. He is predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Marie (Ferrante) Pagano. He is survived by his children, Anthony (Kat), Mark (Lorrie), and Michelle Diaz; grandchildren, Amanda (Jeremy), Anthony, Megan, Matthew and Rebecca. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Diane Seadeek, nieces and nephews.
Tony was born on March 19th, 1940, to Anthony and Mary (Pecoraro) Pagano in Rochester, NY. As a young adult, he went on to serve in the United States Army from 1962-1964 (SP5), earning a “Good Conduct” medal and both Sharpshooter and Expert marksmanship badges. After an honorable discharge, he continued his career working with Eastman Kodak. After an early retirement, he spent his years spending time with his family, camping and cruising in his Lexus before settling down at The Villages at Unity where he made many new friends.
A special thanks to his caregivers (Norma, Kim, Clara, Rasheda, Lisa and Alyssa), Mike Linder (VA Nurse), and his friends at The Villages at Unity for making his last couple of years some of the best. Your kindness and compassion did not go unnoticed, as Tony knew just how loved he was.
A memorial service will be held at 9:30am on Friday, December 30th, at St. Theodores Catholic Parish, 168 Spencerport Road, Gates, NY. This will be followed by a veteran’s service and burial at Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
