Ara Murphy

Greece: Born November 18, 1916 in Birmingham, AL passed away January 20, 2015 at age 98. Predeceased by her husband of 62 years, James. Survived by her children, Sharon (Robert) Alessi, Terry (Marcia) Murphy, Jan Murphy; grandchildren, Theresa (Donald) Versprille, William Boulter, Brian Hartman, Keri (Michael) Sullivan, Amy (Jeff DeFreitas) Murphy; great-grandchildren, Eric & Erin Richardson, Brittany, Taylor & Paige Boulter, Logan & Kira Sullivan; many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Pat and Her Helpers at Fleming Point for the care they showed our mother.



Friends may attend her Funeral Mass, 11 AM Friday at Holy Cross Church. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Cross Church or the House of Mercy.
