Barbara J. Claybaugh

Barbara Claybaugh, nee Miller, age 82 of Rochester, NY, passed away July 7, 2023. Loving wife of the late Robert Claybaugh; loving mother of Elizabeth Tarzia (David Flynn); the late Michael Tarzia III; and Stephen Tarzia (Jill). Proud grandmother of Nate, Ethan, John, David, Olivia, Celia, Samuel, and Sean. Dearest sister of Jeanne Picone, the late Elizabeth Miller, Mary Corti, the late Joan Witner and the late LeRoy Miller; Dear Aunt of many nieces and nephews; and much-loved friend to many.

Barbara had many careers over her lifetime from working for the State Department, to driving a school bus but she ended her career working for Blue Cross Blue Shield where she made many friends. Barbara loved to travel, and her mantra was “have suitcase will travel.” Barbara traveled all over the world with her beloved husband Bob. The only thing Barbara loved more than travel was her family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Corpus Christi/Our Lady of the Americas Church, 864 East Maine Street, Rochester, NY.
