Holley: Passed on Feb. 25, 2017, peacefully surrounded by his family, at the age of 81. Predeceased by his mother & father; and brothers, Michael & Lou. Survived by his wife, Carol A. Messmer of 29 years; sons, Kenneth (Heidi), Joseph, Charles & Ronald (Lori) Messmer; and the mother of his children, Carol M. Messmer; sister, Joan Burgio; brother, Richard (Barbara) Messmer; sisters-in-law, Eileen Messmer, Noreen Messmer & Yvonne (Will) Millspaugh; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews & friends. Charles worked for his father for 25 years at Rochester Automatic Heating. He then worked for Rochester General Hospital for 10 years in maintenance at HVAC and retired from General Motors in 1996.

Friends may call Thursday, 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 777 Long Pond Rd. (between English & Latta). Funeral Services & Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chuck's memory to the Pulmonary Care Unit 5400 at Rochester General Hospital. A special thank you to all the staff at the MICU at Rochester General Hospital and the staff at the Hospice of Orleans County, Albion.
