Survived by fiancée, Nancy Ensman; children, Adam DuMont and Tess DuMont; brother, Jeff (Vanessa), Mike (Laura) and Andy (Jennifer); father, Peter (Anne); nieces and nephews, Haley, Abbey, Jordan, Drake and Ardis. He was a graduate of Trumansburg Central School District, member of Troop 13 BSA, achieved Eagle Scout with Bronze Palm, attended RIT, proud member and Past President of Phi Kappa Tau, 4 year member of Army ROTC, attained rank of Captain within the branch of Military Intelligence. Military accolades include Army Service Ribbon, Army Achievement Medal, Meritorious Service Medal. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak, 19 patents and countless awards in the film industry including a Technical Oscar award and a Herbert T. Kalmus award. He was an avid fisherman, golfer and NY Giants fan and a proud member of Ridgemont Country Club.

Friends may call Friday 3-7 at the funeral home, 777 Long Pond Road (between English & Latta) immediately followed by a Military Committal Service. Interment at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Veterans Outreach Center, 459 South Ave., Roch., NY 14620.
