David W. Lott

January 6, 1956 — July 12, 2024

David W. Lott, loving, dedicated, and selfless husband, father, and grandfather moved on from this world Friday July 12, 2024 at the age of 68. He is survived by Cynthia Lott, his wife and partner of 51 years, his children: Kaylen and Masashi Ohira, Joseph and Nikole Lott, his grandchildren: Maya, Emi, Catherine, Evelyn, and Jeremy as well as his many nieces, nephews, friends, band mates, and students. He is predeceased by his parents Jo Ann and Robert Lott.

David was dedicated to his family and friends above all else. He was a printer by trade and graduated from the Berklee College of Music. He was a skilled bass, guitar, drums, and keyboard player and enjoyed making music with his friends and students alike. David found a way to enjoy almost everything life threw at him, but particularly liked to fish.

A celebration of life will be held from 4 -7 pm with a brief ceremony to occur at 5 pm, on Friday July 19 at the Farrell-Ryan funeral home (777 Long Pond Rd. Rochester, NY 14612).

In lieu of flowers or donations the family asks that you make an effort to spend time with your loved ones.
