Diane Marie Rybak

Diane M. Rybak Surrounded by her loving family, Diane passed away peacefully on February 1st, 2025. She is predeceased by her parents Evelyn (Evie) and Gilbert (Gil) Benoit. She is survived by her loving partner Ed Frances; children Julie (Tim) Sulenski, Jennifer and John Rybak; siblings Gilbert (Buz) (Linda) Benoit and Douglas (Susan) Benoit; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Diane enjoyed baking for her loved ones, taking walks in the sunshine, dancing to the music her talented son provided us all, and reading, amongst many other activities.

She was a true warrior, surviving leukemia after a bone marrow transplant from her brother Buz – and the remaining decades we had her in our lives were a true gift. Always pleasant to everyone, often to greet you with compliments and kind words, she was such a treasure to grace anyone’s company.

 In lieu of flowers please consider a donation made to Bay Area Cancer Connections, a cause that she supported often through her son’s fundraising efforts at his QuaranPalooza events.

Calling hours will be held Friday, February 7th, 2025 from 11am-1pm concluding with a service at 1pm at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services 777 Long Pond Road.
