Gregg, Donald T.

Greece: Peacefully October 26, 2017 at age 99. Predeceased by his wife of 67 years Frances and son R.T. He is survived by his children; Donna (Warren) Hasman, John (Korina) Gregg, Brian (Lisa) Gregg of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren Julie (Kris) Hall, Rebecca, Mark Hasman, Katie (Chris) Vincent, Franmarie (Sam) Metzler, David (Amber) Gregg, Josie (Colt) Kraft, Jessica, Donald Gregg, Sean and Megan Phillips; nine great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Don was born in Castile, NY and attended the University of Michigan and the U of R. He served in the Army Corp of Engineers during WWII. After the war, he and Frances moved to Rochester where he worked as an engineer at Taylor Instrument Company and Sybron.

His hobbies included golf, bridge, carpentry and spending time with family and friends. He was an Eagle Scout and later a Scout Master. Don and Fran were members of Wesley United Methodist Church for many years. In later years, they enjoyed living at The Village at Unity.

No prior calling. Family and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service, 3:00 PM Sunday, November 5 at Park Ridge Free Methodist Church, 10 Straub Rd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Park Ridge Church or the Friends of Letchworth State Park, 1 Letchworth State Park, Castile NY 14427, or a charity of your choice .
