Passed away January 17, 2023 at age 89. She is predeceased by her husband Harry C. Shannon; son Michael F. Shannon; daughter-in-law Debra Lynn Shannon. Survived by her daughter Deborah (Robert) Dietrich; her devoted son Lawrence Shannon; grandsons Michael (Amanda) Shannon, Brian (Jennifer) Shannon; granddaughter Lisa (William) Jeffers; great-grandchildren Evelyn & Lillian Jeffers, Ruby June, Abbey, Noah, Caleb, & Brian Jr. Shannon; sister Betty Franklin; sister-in-law Frances Love and special cousin Phyllis (John) McLaughlin.
Dottie was a loving and caring mother & grandmother who did anything and everything she could for her family and friends. She was a special lady that touched so many people throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by all. Dottie had many lifelong friends from the Rochester Bowling Community. She was truly honored to be inducted into the Rochester Bowling Hall of Fame in 2017.
Calling hours will be held 4-6 PM Wednesday, January 25 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services concluding with a prayer service at 6 PM. Interment 11 AM Thursday, January 26 at Falls Cemetery.
