Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the age of 83. Eddy is survived by his wife, Jasi (Ibrisimovic) Faker; his boys Allen (Susan) Ibrisimovic and Mark Shavron; grands Noah, Joshua, & Mia Ibrisimovic and Owen & Ila Shavron; sister-in-law Nina Shavron; neighbor kid Mark Das; and many friends, family members, and former teammates.
Eddy was a proud graduate of Aquinas Institute in 1959 and retired from Kodak after 32 years. After Kodak, he stayed busy delivering flowers for Fioravanti Florist and famously running his daily errands. In addition to being an avid fisherman and golfer, he owned harness racing horses with partners at Lucky Leaf Stables and was a softball pitcher for 55 consecutive years with the Mixers and Rotators for most of those years. He loved his Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Reds and was especially proud of his contributions to the Bosnian Resettlement program.
Eddy’s family would like to recognize the many individuals who provided him loving care in his later years including; Sandra S, Jacqueline R, and Drs. D. Grawal & M. Bruns.
Calling hours will be held at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY on Tuesday October 29 from 3-6PM. A Memorial Service will be held at Farrell-Ryan Funeral home on Wednesday, October 30 at 11AM with funeral services immediately following at Riverside Cemetery.
