Elaine F. Hasty

Surrounded by her loving family, Elaine “Pip” F. Hasty passed away on January 28th, 2025.

She is predeceased by her parents Betty “Muzzer,” Roman Yoder, and her sister Mary. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Charles; children Kristie (Lou), Charlie (Kathleen Wania), Joshua (Erin); grandchildren Roman, Kamiya, Greyson, Audrey, Breck, Crew, and Forest; siblings Roman (Anita), Sam (Renee), Rebecca, Dave (Carol), Nancy Mae, John, and Theresa; and several nieces and nephews. She was born on a farm in Maryland on June 22 1955, grew up in Florida and spent her adult life in NY. In her early adult life she worked as a race horse groom and after that she went to work as an insurance agent where she retired and eventually became a certified snowbird.

Elaine enjoyed quilting, gardening, fishing, cooking, looming, thrift and antique shopping, bird watching, reading and sports! She was the glue that brought family together , and we will all miss her hearty laugh and the good times she brought us all.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
