Together again after 10 1/2 years apart, Evelyn left us on April 16, 2021, her daughter, Kathy at her side, to rejoin her beloved husband of 62 years, Richard, in their forever home with Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior and Ultimate Healer. Suffering no more after a long and hard-fought battle with COPD and kidney disease, she leaves her adoring daughter and caregiver, Kathy Frisch and son Kirk (Donna) Frisch, grandchildren Gary (Bekkah) Frisch, and Erika Frisch (Eric Monsour), as well as extended family members, friends and kind neighbors.



Born May 10, 1930 as the only child of German immigrant parents she grew to be an independent, loving, caring, generous and faithful Christian woman, who was totally devoted to her family and friends. She especially loved children and drove school bus for GCSD for over 19 years. Highly respected by co-workers and friends they would often say, “What would Evie do?” when they were faced with a dilemma. Her favorite pastime was to crochet, starting at age 15 thru her last days. She lived life to the fullest, always filled with joy and laughter. She and her husband enjoyed traveling throughout the US and Canada and loved their Thousand Islands cottage where they watched wildlife and steamships go through the St. Lawrence River channel from their large picture window.



Funeral proceedings will be held at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612 on Tuesday, April 27th. A calling hour will be at 10 am with a Memorial Service at 11 and interment at Riverside Cemetery to follow. The Rev. Larry Stojkovic, presiding.
