Greece: October 28, 2014 at age 98. Predeceased by his wives, Marie with whom he had 8 children and Helen and son, Sgt. William, USMC. Survived by his loving wife, Joyce; daughters, Kathleen (Thomas) Foos of GA., Patricia (Richard) Powers and Mary Maslyn (Serge Fillion); sons, Michael (Patricia), Robert of VA., James (Donna) and Thomas of CA.; also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; Frank graduated from Aquinas and attained a diploma in management from RIT. He was a member at Sacred Heart Cathedral for 59 years, with a 3 year term on the Parish Council, long term Eucharistic Minister and Pioneer Lector. He was a 30 year member of the Legion of Mary and President of the Rochester Comitium for 3 years. He operated a Boys Club at the former St. Bridget's Parish during the 1960 riots and supplemented the efforts of the chaplains after the riots at Attica and Auburn. Frank also volunteered at St. Joseph's House of Hospitality. For 32 years he worked at Eastman Kodak as a Senior Development Technician. The last 25 of those years he enjoyed amazing top secret work in Rochester, Nevada and California. While at Kodak he competed at Toast Masters International Speech Making. Frank was an avid bowler and golfer and continued both to age 95. He joined Lifespan to transport many senior citizens - most his junior, to Doctors, Pharmacies, and Hospitals. He was a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus and was heralded as the oldest new recruit at age 94.



Friends may call Sunday 1-4PM at the Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd. (between English and Latta). Funeral Mass 10:30 Monday at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Joseph's House of Hospitality, 402 South Ave., 14620 or Cathedral Community, 296 Flower City Park, 14615 for masses for the repose of his soul.
