Franklin DiBiase

With great sadness, our family announces the passing on January 11, 2025, of our beloved Franklin. Yet we are grateful that he is no longer suffering, the light of his spirit is shining around us and in us forever. His charm, talent, gentleness, kindness, hearty laugh, love of nature, concern for environment, curious nature touched us all. Franklin loved people of all ages; family, friends and students in his 30 year teaching career with RCSD and they loved him back.

Father, husband, Papa, uncle, friend, teacher were the roles he treasured most. His extended, blended family embraced and celebrated him.

Franklin is survived by his dear wife Ann, 7 daughters: Emily, Kathleen (Brad), Elaine (Dale), Shannon (Chris), Elizabeth (Darryl), Meg (Annalisa), Kaitlin (Chris); grandchildren Stephanie (Joe), Maryn (Tara), Payton, Jessica, Caden, Gavin, Matthew, Lucy, Fiona, Landon, Brice, Samira, Naomi, Ivy; great grandsons: Anthony, Liam, Michael, Mason; brother Sal (Myrna); many nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you to Franklin’s brother Sal, and close friends Sharon, David, Scott and Sandy for their unwavering love and support.

Goodbye my sweet husband, we will meet again in the great beyond, I’m certain. But until then we will miss you in a way there are no words for.

Our family appreciates the support and care from family, friends, doctors, nurses, practitioners, aides, Unity Hospital, Legacy at Maiden Park and the tender attention from Roch. Regional Health Hospice Care in our home in the final days.

Calling hours will be held 10AM Saturday January 18, at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services 777 Long Pond Road with a service to follow at 11AM. Directly following the service will be a luncheon at our home.
