George Boseman Jr.

George Boseman Jr. passed away on November 18, 2024. He was born on October 27, 1950, in Anderson, South Carolina. He is predeceased by his father, George Boseman Sr.,who died in 1957 and his mother Jesse Boseman who died in 1984, His brother Michael Wayne Boseman, his brother Johnny Grant Sr. and Brother in Law Calvin Webb. He is survived by his siblings, Peggy Webb and Charlie (Teresa ) Boseman; His children: sons Shawn R. (Bernaca) Boseman, Idris Boseman, and George Boseman III; daughters April Boseman, Elton Boseman, Carle (Timothy Newton Jr.) Boseman-Newton, and Manuleta Boseman. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Throughout his life, George worked tirelessly to provide for those he cared about, often striving to offer more than he had been given. While life’s challenges left an undeniable mark on his relationships, his love for his children endured. He wished them all healing and understanding, despite the complexities of his journey.

He retired when he was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. His hope was to travel down south and visit family. However, his medical condition prevented this. He focused on helping to care for his granddaughter when her parents were not able. In 2020 he became best buddy’s with his namesake Timothy George Newton III and they enjoyed a great deal of time together.

George’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his legacy of resilience, wisdom, humor, and love will not be forgotten. He will be greatly missed.

Calling hours will be held 4pm-7pm Tuesday November 26th at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services 777 Long Pond Road.
