Gwen Rasbach

Greece, NY/Ilion, NY: Age 93, passed on May 27, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband, David Austin; parents, Leon & Cora Jarvis; and her siblings, Audrey, Joanne, Jane and Sam. Gwen is survived by her children, Jon (Judy) of Michigan, Alex (Linda) of Hilton and Mary (Mark) Atwell of Greece; grandchildren, Adrienne, Adam, Alison, Rachel and Austin as well as 9 great-grandchildren. Gwen is also survived by her sisters, Barb (Ron) Vodicka and Carol (Bob) Harris; and many nieces & nephews. Gwen was a retiree of McCurdy's and would like to be remembered by her friends in Mohawk Valley, at McCurdy's and on Paddy Hill Drive, her home for many years. Thanks to her caregivers at Crimson Ridge Gardens Senior Living and Edna Tina Wilson Living Center.

Friends are invited to call at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Road, 3-4 PM followed by her Funeral Service at 4 PM on Friday May 30, 2014. Interment will be held in Herkimer, NY on Saturday May 31st at Noon. Contributions in Gwen's name can be made to Meals-On-Wheels, 2180 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY 14580.
