Irene Deroo

Greece: November 24, 2014 at age 81. Died suddenly at her home and now reunited with her husband Bob in heaven. Predeceased by her parents, Julius & Sylvia Dalle; her son-in-law, Gary J. Azzolina. Survived by her daughters, Karen Azzolina, Barb (Bob) LoPresti; her sons, Bob (Sue) DeRoo, Brian (Julie) DeRoo; 10 grandchildren, Michael (Sue), Lindsay, Miki (Josh), Casey, Cory, Amanda, Elyse, Bobby, Cale & John; 1 great-grandson, Gregory; also survived by her sisters, Dorothy Calandra, Mary Katherine Eve; brother, Raymond Dalle; brother-in-law, Bill DeRoo; sister-in-law, Bertha Hafner; many nieces, nephews, friends too many to name. Irene was a life long resident of Greece, lived for 60 years in the house that her husband Bob built. She was a member of Greece Ridge Ladies Auxiliary for many years. Playing cards, loved her animals, liked to garden & cook. Mom's roll of wife, mother & grandmother made her the happiest. And how she loved us all! Say hello to Dad for us "Mummsie". Love you forever.



Friends may call Friday 1-3 & 5-7 at the Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd. (Between English and Latta). Funeral Mass 10AM Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Church (Greece). Interment Falls Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Joyful Rescue or Lollypop Farm.
