Suddenly September 3, 2021. Predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years Edmund, sister-in-law Elizabeth Montello, brother-in-law Robert Knittel. Survived by her children Donna (Terry) Tydings, Thomas (Susan) Knittel; grandchildren Ashlee (Nate) Vankouwenberg, Kyle Billings, Jordyn Billings, Sawyer (fiance Adam Lynch) Knittel; great-grandchildren Reagan and Braedy Vankouwenberg; brother Samuel Montello; brother-in-law Larry Knittel of Montana; sister-in-law Darlene Knittel; several nieces and nephews. Johanne was a volunteer at Journey Home for many years.


Friends may call Wednesday 4-7 PM at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Road. Funeral mass 9:30 AM Thursday at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Journey Home.
