Passed away peacefully on Sunday April 11, 2021 at the age of 96 surrounded by his adoring family and loving wife Beverley. He is predeceased by his wife Peggy Brickler Tachin. Survived by his wife Beverley Tachin; children Kim (Rob) Pfahl, John (Karen) Tachin, Mark (Nikki) Tachin, Julie (Dean) Swan, and Janine (Scott) Nasca; 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many many close friends. John was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, veteran, teacher, musician, stone mason, philosopher, friend, and legend. He will be missed by all.
Friends may call Wednesday 3-7 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Road. Funeral mass Thursday 10:30 at Holy Cross Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
