Lee M. Colavito

July 17, 1928 — October 8, 2024

Lee M. Colavito, age 96 of Greece, passed away on October 8, 2024, due to complications of heart disease.


Lee was born in Holley, New York to Elia and Catherine Colavito. He was an athlete and scholar, scoring for the Class A champion varsity basketball team and attending Clarkson University on an athletic scholarship. Lee served in the Army after World War II, stationed in Italy. He was a chemical engineer at Eastman Kodak for 36 years, managing Distillation Products Industries prior to his retirement. He was an avid golfer, with a hole-in-one to his credit. Lee was known for his kindness, generosity, and loyalty to family and friends. He was a man of faith, a dedicated parishioner of St. Lawrence Church for 58 years.


Lee is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Angelina; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and John Shepanski, Lisa and Robert Duerr, Jean and John Krichbaum; and four grandchildren, Eric (Mollie), Paul, Mary, and Christopher.


A memorial mass will be held 9:30 AM Saturday, October 19th at St. Lawrence Church. Inurnment White Haven Memorial Park.
