Passed away March 15, 2025 at age 87. He is predeceased by his parents Albert and Helen. Survived by his wife of 60 years Helen; children Mary-Ann (Lee) Panzica, Timothy (Claudia) Goetzman, and Louis Goetzman; grandchildren, Timothy Goetzman (Eliza Gonzalez), Lillian (Caleb) Miller, Jakob Goetzman, Sophia Panzica, Julia Panzica, and Ella Goetzman; great grandchild Rosemary; brother Gary Goetzman; several nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.
Lou was born in Chicago but spent his life in Rochester, NY working for Kodak for over 30 years. He enjoyed playing drums to Jazz music, he was a car enthusiast, avid baseball fan, and loved his Springer Spaniels. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Lou had an endearing sense of humor, he will be missed.
Friends may call 5-7pm Thursday March 20th at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services 777 Long Pond Road. Services will be held privately for the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s association or a charity of your choice.
