Margaret (Peggy) Laber

Passed peacefully on January 13, 2025. She is predeceased by her parents Alfred and Margaret O’Brien, sister Sr. Mary Alice O’Brien, RSM, and brother Robert O’Brien. Survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Richard Laber; dearest mother of Michael (Laura) Laber, Patrick (Marcy) Laber, and Shannon Shoemaker; loving grandmother of Breanna, Michael, Emily, Aiden, Maya, Caleb, and Clare; siblings Thomas (Nancy) O’Brien, Joseph (Joellen) O’Brien, and sister-in-law BJ O’Brien; several nieces and nephews; and special cousin Ellen Donahue.

Peggy dedicated 48 years of her life serving the community as a Registered Nurse.

A private memorial service for the family will be held at 12:00pm Thursday January 23, 2025, at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services, 777 Long Pond Road with calling hours to follow from 1:00-3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
