Marie Green

Passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on December 2, 2020.

Marie was predeceased by her husband Howard and siblings Margaret Blair, Jean Abee, Helen and Frank Christman.

She is survived by her son Michael (Anita), daughter Julie; grandchildren Anthony (Elizabeth), Jeffrey (Erica), Michelle Green; five great grandchildren; sister Betty (Joe) Schwab and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Howie and Marie’s childhood friendship grew into a 60 year marriage that stands as an example of the true meaning of the vow “in sickness and in health.”

Marie perfected her Bridge game over a period of 70 years. It was over the Bridge table, with her regular group of 8 women that she gushed with pride relaying stories of her children and grandchildren’s successes.

Marie loved working outdoors side by side with Cecelia (aka “Ceil”) creating a polished yard that was noticed by all who passed by.

Due to the pandemic, the family will celebrate her life with a Mass at a later date. In the meantime you are invited to remember her when you have a Hershey’s Kiss or some form of chocolate dessert.
