Mary Ellen always loved to keep busy and enjoy life. She was on the swim team as a diver and played sports throughout high school. She met her husband, Dick, through their parents, and it was love at first sight. They were married within six months and enjoyed a wonderful marriage for over 57 years until Dick’s passing. She loved raising her children and, although she enjoyed her career as an office manager, her family was always her priority. She loved volunteering at Journey Home and taking her rescued dogs on walks.
Mary Ellen had a profound and unwavering faith that guided her throughout her life. She lived her life to the fullest. All who met Mary Ellen instantly recognized her kindness, giving nature, and love of life, and made an impact on everyone she met. She spent the last year enjoying her time with family and friends, keeping a busy schedule of lunch dates. She will be greatly missed.
