Maureen J. Flaherty

Maureen Jean “Reenie” Flaherty of Rochester, age 58, passed away on May 16th surrounded by loved ones. She was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, daughter, sister, and grandmother. Maureen was a tireless supporter and fundraiser for Saint Charles School, and tenacious advocate for her child with autism. Maureen will be remembered for her courage and strength. She will be missed dearly.

Maureen is survived by her husband, Patrick; her sons, Timothy (Maria-Chiara), Michael (Kendrick), Brendan, and Connor; her granddaughter, Ginevra; her sisters Lauren (Patrick) Bates, Mary Beth (Mike) Nally, and Kathy (Rick) Russo; her brothers, Jim (Laurie) Burns, and Patrick (Carrie) Burns. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Maureen is predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Norma Burns.

Friends may attend her Funeral Mass 9:30am Saturday May 20, 2023 at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Inurnment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Autism Up of Rochester in her memory.
