Nancy A. Palermo

Nancy Ann (Crugnale) Palermo died peacefully in her sleep on March 6, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Cosimo. She was survived by her children Steven, Mark (Mechelle), and Karen (Moses) Gaster; grandchildren Cosimo, Lelaina, Max, and Isac; sisters Patricia Lusardi (Carl), Barbara Fox (Ralph), brother Joseph Crugnale (deceased); brothers-in law Joseph (Frances, deceased) Ronald (Annette); sister-in in law Marie Connolly (Bill) (deceased). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and kids she called her own.

Nancy was best known as “the cookie lady” as she never showed up to a party, dinner, or event without a gigantic tray of her homemade Italian cookies. She spent her professional career as a bank teller where her customers adored her.

Nancy was a loving wife, mom, nana, aunt, cousin, and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Calling hours will be held 5-7 PM Friday, March 14 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services. Her funeral service will be 11 AM Saturday, March 15 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services. 777 Long Pond Road Rochester, NY 14612.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the Rochester Public Library.
