Patricia Holmes

Greece, New York – Patricia Drake Holmes passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband Roy Holmes, she is survived by her sister Barbara Conrad, three children Chris Winslow, Paul (Margaret Jennings) Holmes, and Tom Holmes, grandchildren Justin Anderson and Stanley Coe, and her great granddaughter Aubree Coe. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on August 24, 1935. Patricia attended MacMurray College where she majored in Drama and minored in English. She loved singing with the Sweet Adelines, and she was also actively involved in P.E.O. International (a non-profit organization that helps “women reach for the stars”), a volunteer at Rochester General Mental Health outpatient, and an avid reader. Perhaps most important is that she was kind and caring to her children and never raised her voice to them; however, her children enjoyed hearing her raise her voice in song.
