Raymond E. Kirtland Iii

Passed away January 23, 2023 at the age of 77. Raymond is survived by his wife Priscilla; son John (Donna) Kirtland; daughter Julie (Keith) Till; grandchildren Justin, Ashley, Olivia, Christian, Rylee and Brody; siblings Judie, Joan, and Richard (Liliya).

Ray was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and served in the Navy Construction Battalion in the Vietnam War. He married Priscilla over 53 years ago and they later settled in Rochester, NY where he worked at Kodak for over 30 years.

Ray was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend. He will be missed dearly. He had such a love for life and adventure. He was happiest when he was out on his boat, camping, biking, or working on a project. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family- being together, doing something fun, or watching a sunrise or sunset. He will forever be in our hearts and we are so grateful for the wonderful memories we shared with him.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, Feb. 10th, 2pm-4pm, and 6pm-9pm, at Farrell-Ryan Funeral and Cremation Services 777 Long Pond Rd. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, Feb. 11th at Messiah Lutheran Church 4301 Mt Read Blvd, Rochester, NY 14616.

Flowers may be sent to Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services. Or in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Wilmot Cancer Institute where he received amazing care and treatment.
