Ontario, NY: It is with great sadness the family Raymond Michael Grills announces his passing on November 5, 2017 after a courageous cancer battle at the age of 80.

Ray was born and raised in Cobourg, Canada. In 1967 he relocated to Rochester, NY and became a member of Local 13 where he worked as a steamfitter until 1999 where he retired.

Ray is survived by his daughter, Darlene (Jack) Hucko; his son, Darrell (Jodi) Grills; his grandchildren, Cherik (Jared McPherson) Hucko, Sean (Marlena) Hucko, Jordan and Eric Grills; his brothers and sisters all from Canada, Keith (Patricia), Russel (Larie), Joan (Harold) Reid, Gaile (Bob) Douglas, Dorothy (Lionel) Sunde; and special friend, Carol Bamonte of Melbourne, FL. Predeceased by sisters, Joyce (Wally) Turner and LiLian Grills.

Friends may call Wednesday 4-7 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd. (between English & Latta). Funeral Service, Thursday 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lifetime Care, 800 West Miller St., Newark, NY 14513.
