Greece: Suddenly and peacefully in his sleep December 11, 2014 at age 64. He leaves behind his loving wife of 41 years, Jeanne; beloved children, Krista Schaller, Gregory and Janet Schaller, Katie and Andre Valente and Mark Schaller; precious grandchildren, Giuliana and Raymond "RJ" Schaller, Isabella, Nicholas and Tessa Valente. Ray is predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Schaller and mother-in-law Marian Wallace. He is survived by siblings, Robert Schaller, Ginny and David Johnson, Rosemary and John Pinkney, Grace and Fred Rainaldi, Elaine Schaller, Teresa and Tom Sullivan, Ken and Karen Schaller, Carolyn and Ray Helfrich; his father-in-law Robert Wallace; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jim and Judy Wallace, Linda and Robert Vanelli, Kathy and John Cocilova as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and golf partners.
Raymond's life centered around family and faith. He greeted all with a smile and found great joy in sharing his sense of humor and laughter with others. Ray has maintained many friendships with his classmates from Aquinas Class of '69. He was the Operations Manager at the Schaller's Brighton Restaurant.
Friends may call Sunday 1-6pm at the funeral home 777 Long Pond Rd. (between English & Latta). Funeral Mass 9:30 Monday at Mother of Sorrows Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Heart Assoc. or Golisano Children's Hospital.
