Greece: June 20, 2016. I walked my mile this morning... Predeceased by his parents, Pauline and Mitchell Harmer; brother, Mitchell Harmer Jr. Survived by his wife, Alma; daughters, Jan (Rich) Winchell, Patti Harmer and Linda (Mike) Dent; grandchildren, Chad, Heather and Todd Winchell, Alex and Steve Dent; brother, Walter Harmer and sisters-in-law, Lura Rouse and Duretta Schneider; many nieces, nephews and special friends. Richard was a graduate of Blackburn University and the U of R. He served 4 years in the Air Force and retired after 30 years as a Chemist at Kodak.

Friends may attend a Memorial Service 7:00PM Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4115 Dewey Ave. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the McCurdy School, 261 S. McCurdy Road, Espanola, NM 87532, Aldersgate Building Fund or Wilmot Cancer Center.
