Richard Kosko was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. Rich was born November 18th, 1936 in Duquesne, Pennsylvania and graduated from Duquesne High School. After high school he operated his father’s gas station. He met and started dating Agnes Kracinovsky, and they got married after six years of courtship. Rich was drafted into the US Army in February of 1960 and came back to marry Agnes in September of that same year . The two of them moved to Fort Benning, Georgia three weeks later. Their first child, Rick, was born the following year. After two years in the service, Rich made the decision to move north, landing in Rochester, New York. Rich was hired by GM‘s Delco products division, where he eventually went to RIT to become a journeyman tool & die maker. Rich and Agnes went on to have more children, Gary and Lisa. During the years his kids grew up, they would camp and take summer vacations traveling. The kids eventually grew up, got married and had kids. Rich and Agnes loved spending time with their 5 grandchildren taking them to many campgrounds to swim , fish and go rafting down streams! After 30 years at Delco, he retired at the age of 55. Rich and Agnes enjoyed spending their winter months at Tampa East RV park for 25 years. They made wonderful memories and made some very good friends. Rich loved pitching horseshoes, playing pool, woodworking, and was an all around handyman around the house. He was a jack of all trades and his family always knew that he could ask him for help with anything.
When it came to conversations, he always seemed to have the right answer or solution! He earned the nickname “Dick knows all”! Rich and Agnes truly enjoyed competing, playing card games with their two great-grandsons and endless hours doing multiple puzzles with whomever sat down with them! He also enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and the best football team in the NFL - The Pittsburgh Steelers! Rich was grateful for everything and always said “he was blessed”.
