Robert J. Heid

Born May 16th, 1936, Passed away on March 11th, 2024 at the age of 87. Surrounded by his loving family who were his greatest joys, and adored spending time with. Robert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Predeceased by parents Peter and Marie Heid, siblings Peter Heid Jr, Eileen Barr, Gerry Piper, and granddaughter Erika Herold. Survived by wife Barbara, daughters Lisa (Steve) Salvaggio, Lori Herold (Scott Sedlacek), grandchildren Amanda Salvaggio (Dave Coin), Rachel Salvaggio (Dan Raforth),Jess Herold and great grandchild Cade Coin.

He never looked for praises

He was never one to boast

He just went on quietly working

For the ones he loved the most.

His dreams were seldom spoken

His wants were very few

And most of the time his worries

Went unspoken too.

He was there... A firm foundation

Through all our storms of life

A sturdy hand to hold on to In times of stress and strife.

A true friend we could turn to

When times were good or bad

One of our greatest blessings

The man that we called Papa.
