Ronald J. Pawley- Age 89

Passed away peacefully at home 4/21/23 in the company of family and friends in Rochester, NY. He was loved by sooo many. Predeceased by his loving parents Len and Grace and brothers Roy (Patricia), Ray (Stephanie) and Randy (Marjorie), Ron is remembered for his generosity for those in need and a giving heart as well as a fearless tenacity.

Ron was a military veteran and long-time officer with the Kodak Fire Department, retiring as Executive Deputy Fire Chief, and was active in the local music scene, having managed the early careers of musicians Bat McGrath and Don Potter. Never shy about giving his opinion, he had several pieces printed in the opinion pages of the local newspaper.

He is survived by his loving sons Jose (Lillyia) Eddie Brandon (Christy); nieces Stacy (Dan), Nicole (Joel) and Kim (Dan); nephews Dan (Kerry), Scott (Char), Steven (Lorie), Chris and Jon (Jennifer) and countless lifelong friends and relatives.

Calling hours are Friday, May 19th at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Road from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm with a prayer and memorial service to follow. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the animal advocates at Lollypop Farm https://www.lollypop.org
