Rose V Mazzeo

Rose Vitelli Mazzeo passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 6, 2023 at the age of 93 due to complications from COPD. She was born on May 13, 1929 in Rochester, NY and grew up surrounded by a large extended family and friends. She had a strong Catholic faith that she held onto her entire life. Besides spending time with her family and friends, Rose loved to work on counted cross-stitch projects, collected Lladro figurines, worked the Jumble everyday, and was an ardent Yankees fan.

She is predeceased by her husband Michael and her daughter Mary. She is survived by her sons, Michael, Jr. Thomas (Susan), John (Kathy); three grandchildren, Christina Galunas (Ryan), Michael (Katy), and Lisa (Connor); four great-grandchildren, Eric, Mina, Levi, and Savannah; brother Vito Vitelli (Mary Pat).

Friends may call 2-4 PM Saturday at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home & Cremations Services, 777 Long Pond Road. Funeral Mass 12 Noon Monday at the Chapel of St. Ann's Home. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital (st.jude.org/memorial)
