Rosemary A. Blanda

Our beloved Rosemary passed away on August 8, 2023 at the age of 95. Predeceased by her husband Andrew, parents William and Mary Reynolds, brothers William, Thomas and Charles; sisters Marjorie Meldrum, Eileen Sliney, Kathleen Milne; son-in-law David Civalier.

Survived by her ten loving children whom she cherished: Joseph, Elizabeth (Brian) Herman, William, Thomas (Nancy), Patricia Civalier, Marianne (Richard) Holtzberg, Andrea (James) Howard, Mark, Andrew Jr, Eileen "Rinky" Lawler; 29 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by devoted sister Marian Quinlan, brother-in-law Robert Milne, in-laws Scott Lawler and Margaret Davidson; many dear nieces and nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.

The family would like to thank Dr Nancy S. Clark and her team, UR Home Draw Services, and Highland Hospital. Rosemary loved her family, her faith, the Yankees and all things Irish. She always had a quick wit and a kind word. Everyone was always welcome in her home and at her table.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 17th at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 534 Oxford St. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Those wishing to make a donation in her memory may donate to the Blessed Sacrament Church Supper Program, 259 Rutgers St, 14607.
