Sally Kommeth

Sally Kommeth, 80, of Rochester, NY, passed away October 13, 2023 peacefully at Hildebrandt Hospice Center. She was the beloved daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Parkinson born on June 10, 1943, in Buffalo, NY. Her sister, Susie, and brother, John preceded her in death.

Sally's greatest love in life was her family, and she is survived by her husband, David Kommeth; her stepsons, David (Karen), Mark, and Kevin (Sandy); and stepdaughter Kristen Todd (Christopher); grandchildren Bridgette; Kyla, Matthew, and Mark; and great-grandchildren Chase, Claire, Cayden, Livia, and Arlo; her brother, Ron; brother-in-law Harold; nieces Debbie and Susan; and nephew John; and many dear friends and acquaintances.

Sally left her creative mark with everything she touched, whether it be her gourmet cooking, running a clothing line, as an accomplished home decorator, not to mention being a lifelong fashionista.

She found solace and drew strength from her unwavering faith. She was a devout member of Holy Cross Catholic church.

Friends and family may call 4-7pm Tuesday October 17th at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services 777 Long Pond Road. Funeral Mass 10:30am Wednesday October 18th at Holy Cross Church. Burial will immediately follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Sally's memory.
