Greece: November 1, 2017. He is predeceased by his father, Howard; his brother, Tim; and his niece, Val. He is survived by his wife, Susan (Pettis) Whatford; his mother, Janet Whatford and son, Kristoffer Piper.

Thomas was a graduate of Rush-Henrietta High School and then went on to MCC before graduating from RIT. He worked for T.H. Herman Inc.
