Greece – Passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025, at the age of 96. Vern was born on July 29, 1928, to Esther and George Eisenbraun. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 72 years, Beverly; his parents; his sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Raymond Skuse; his son-in-law, James Brady Jr. Vern is survived by his four daughters, Jill Eisenbraun, Lynne Brady, Kim (Andy) McOmber, Lisa (Kurt) McConnell; grandchildren, Lee (Tara) McOmber, Erik McOmber, Colette McConnell; great grandchildren, Ethan and Ava McOmber; his nephew Charles (Judy) Skuse and their children.
Vern was a graduate of the University of Rochester and member of the ROTC. Commissioned as a Marine Corps Lieutenant, he proudly served our country in the Korean War. Vern continued to serve as Captain in Marine Corps Reserve for several years.
Vern had a long and accomplished career working as a mathematician and computer systems engineer for Eastman Kodak, Co. During his time with Kodak, Vern built many lasting relationships with colleagues that he cherished for many years into retirement with his Kodak Coffee Group.
Vern had a passion for fishing and golfing. He and Bev enjoyed traveling and especially loved their annual family vacations on Cape Cod. Vern was an active member of Hilton Baptist Church for over 30 years.
