Virginia Belt (Scharf)
Greece - aged 94, passed away peacefully on September 6th at The Friendly Home.
Along with her parents, she is predeceased by husband Howard of 58 years and sister Agatha K. Aab.
Virginia is survived by daughter Barbara (Don) Jarvie and son Thomas (Wendy) Belt of Holly Springs, NC.
Virginia was very proud of her grandchildren who knew her as Nana: Jeff (Laura) Jarvie, Katie Jarvie, Brittany (Jon) Kohan Chapel Hill, NC, Benjamin (Hannah) Belt Angier, NC, and Josh Belt.
Virginia delighted in having three great-grandchildren: Samantha Jarvie, Kendall and Flynn Belt, as well as Nieces and Nephews: William (Joyce) Aab, Richard Aab, Virginia (Jim Jarvie) Halstead, John (Margaret) Belt, and Christopher Belt.
Virginia was raised in Hamlin and graduated from John Marshall High School and the Rochester Business Institute. In addition to a career at Kodak, Virginia was a long-time member of Wesley United Methodist Church and a 25 year volunteer of Maplewood Edgerton Emergency Food Kupboard.

A service will be held at Riverside Chapel on Friday, September 11th at 11 AM.
