Virginia C. Edgely (Watkins)

Greece, New York on May 4, 2024 after a brief illness at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth Edgely, parents Irene and Charles Cody, close friend Gerry Wilkerson. She is survived by her sons James (Joyce), Jerold and John Watkins, sister from another mother Rita (Dick) Kane, step daughter Peg (Henry) Clemes, sister-in-law Fran Crosby, grandchildren Janel (Jeremy) Keating, David (Kaitlyn) Watkins, Christopher Brown, Cheri (Bryan) Gropp, Brett Watkins and Dillon Watkins along with six great grandchildren.

She spent most of her life living on the shore of Lake Ontario and was an avid gardener. She was retired from the Episcopal Church Home, was a former dispatcher at the Greece Volunteer Ambulance and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

At Virginia's request, there will be no calling hours; a Memorial Service will be held at St. Marks Church on May 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Episcopal Church Home, 505 Mt. Hope Avenue, Rochester, New York 14620
