Willam Wachter

Greece: William E. Wachter, 83, died March 13, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Bill was a decorated US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and an active member of the VFW. A retiree of the GM Rochester Products, Bill volunteered for the American Red Cross, the Boy Scouts, Meals on Wheels, and Friends in Service Here (FISH).



He was predeceased by his wife, Irene; sisters, Betty Heinsler, Olga Chatterton and Kathleen Smith. He is survived by his children, Debbie (Fran) Lute, Judi (Jim) Redmond, Jim (Barbara) Wachter and Mary Meyers (Don Drexler); his 11 grandchildren; sister, Doris Heinsler and numerous nieces and nephews.



The family thanks Dr. John Robb, Dr. Gregory Singer and the staff at Unity Hospital for their caring and kindness.



At Bill's request no calling hours will be held. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00AM on Monday at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. Private Interment at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to one of the above organizations or a charity of choice
