William Lombard

Passed away October 10, 2023 at age 88. He is predeceased by his wife Carol “Rompers”. Survived by his children Lynn (Jim) Ryan, Bill Jr. (Jennifer) Lombard, & David (Geri) Lombard; grandchildren Taylor, Dayna, James, Corey, Casey, Madison, Kendall, & Kayleigh; great-grandchildren McKenna, Anthony, and Reese.

Bill was a retiree of Niagara Mohawk after 40 years and was an Army Veteran. He refereed football for 51 years and is in the Softball Hall of Fame after umpiring for 50 years. He enjoyed spending winters in Florida and especially his summers in the Thousand Island’s at “camp” with his family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Legacy at Maiden Park and Hildebrandt Hospice for their sincere care.

Calling hours will be held 4-6 PM Tuesday, October 17th at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services, 777 Long Pond Road. Funeral Mass 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 18th at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hildebrandt Hospice.
