Unexpectedly August 13,2022. Predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Margaret; brothers David and Ralph. Survived by his wife of 64 years Dolores; children Cheryl (Andrew) Gillette, Suzanne Dutta, Michael, Mary Margaret, Elizabeth (Robert) Simmerman; brother Richard (Helen); sisters-in-law Virginia Konz, Judy Smith, Lina Gleason, and Marilyn Batra; grandchildren Meghan (Adam Partin) Gillette, Andrew (Erica) Gillette, Brian (Courtney) Gillette, Justin Dutta, Shane Dutta, Ryan Dutta, Nicholas Dutta, Joshua (Becky) Konz, Sierra Simmerman, Bryson Simmerman; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Marvin was a member of the Knights of Columbus #11374; the Chemical Society; the founder of Lockport Little League Baseball; an active volunteer at St. Lawrence Church and a sports enthusiast. He is a graduate of Naples High School , St. Bonaventure University and the University of Illinois.

No Prior calling. Friends may attend his funeral mass 10 AM Friday at St. Lawrence Church. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Fremont. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Honor Flight; St. Lawrence Church or the Knights of Columbus # 11374, c/o 14 Glencross Circle 14626.
