Obituary of Steven James Sedlak

Steven James Sedlak of Rochester, NY, 68, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away December 29, 2022.  He was predeceased by his mother, June, and survived by his father Richard, brothers Richard (Marcia) and Gregory (Kim), sisters Sharon Gerew and Christine Sutton (Christopher) and many nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Spencerport High School, he worked at Eastman Kodak, Danka, and Verizon before retirement.  Steve loved Big Band music, classic movies and TV. He was an avid reader and enjoyed discussing history, politics, and movies.

Thanks to his best friend Joel Humphrey and all of the health care professionals whose efforts allowed Steve to enjoy life at home over the last 1-1/2 years of his life.

Friends may call January 3rd 4pm-7pm at Farrell-Ryan Funeral and Cremation Services, 777 Long Pond Road.  Donations may be sent to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at www.pancan.org in lieu of flowers.
