James graduated from Greece Athena High School in 2011 and earned his bachelor’s degree in Funeral Service Administration from SUNY Canton in 2015, where he currently serves on the program’s Advisory Board.
He began working alongside his father, Jim, at the funeral home at the age of 14 and became a licensed funeral director in 2016. In 2021, James purchased the funeral home from his father and now carries on the family tradition as its owner.
James lives in Spencerport with his wife, Katra, their sons, James and Liam, and their dog, Donut.
Jim is a 1975 graduate of Marcellus High School, and a 1978 graduate of SUNY Canton.
Jim is an active member of Ridgemont Country Club. His family includes his wife Lynn, daughters Taylor and Dayna, and son, James.
Joe serves as the Office Manager and is a licensed Funeral Director who has been compassionately assisting families since 1988. Born and raised in Rochester's Tenth Ward, he has deep roots in the community and a genuine understanding of the families he serves. He joined the firm in 1989 and has remained a dedicated and valued member of the staff, providing professional, personalized care to every family he serves.
A 1978 graduate of Aquinas Institute, Joe went on to earn a Junior Accounting certificate from Bryant & Stratton Business Institute in 1981. He later graduated from Hudson Valley Community College in 1987 with an Associate in Applied Science (A.S.) degree in Mortuary Science.
Joe is a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church and is deeply committed to serving both his faith community and the families who entrust him with the care of their loved ones. His experience, compassion, and dedication have made him a trusted source of comfort and guidance for generations of families.
